The Imperial Delhi

This colonial style hotel is located in Janpath, just steps from Connaught Place. The hotel is located in the very center of the city (business district). It was built in 1930 and has 276 rooms. Its decoration is very elegant and will make you travel to the India of the British Raj with its furniture and prints.

It has a wide variety of gastronomic options spread over 7 establishments. One of its restaurants is "The Spice Route", and it is one of the best restaurants in Delhi, iconic for the feasts offered and for its unique decor with murals and pillars of temples. It also has a spa, swimming pool and magnificent gardens.

For a long time this lodging has been a favorite of many celebrities and dignitaries from the country and from abroad.

The location is exceptional, a few steps from Connaught Place, only 10 minutes from Chandni Chowk and 25 minutes from the airport.

Haveli Dharampura (luxury hotels in Delhi with lots of charm)

Staying in Old Delhi: Hotel Haveli Dharampura

Old Delhi, although one of the most authentic and unique areas of the city, is not usually the preferred area to stay in due to its chaos and hustle and bustle. But among the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi there is a jewel, the hotel Haveli Dharampura. A place where you can combine a luxury stay, historical and cultural immersion as well as making your stay the most authentic one.

This hotel has been completely refurbished and has been UNESCO Cultural and Heritage Restoration Award winner. It has a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Old Delhi and Jama Masjid mosque , as well as a restaurant with a tasting menu and a traditional dance show. A hotel that relives the era of the Mughal Empire and will make you travel back in time.

Undoubtedly, this is one of my favorite hotels in the Indian capital.

The Leela Palace New Delhi

This hotel is located in the diplomatic enclave. Its decoration combines colonial style with touches of the most authentic India.

It has spacious rooms, suites with private pools and butler service. It has 4 restaurants, a luxurious spa with Ayurveda treatments and a rooftop infinity pool with panoramic views of the city.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood and 20 minutes from some of the most important monuments of the city.

The Lodhi

A very nice hotel elegant with modern decoration with an oriental touch. It has a beauty salon, spa, library, swimming pool and cigar lounge with a selection of the best cigars in the world. It is just 1km from the iconic Tomb of Humayun and just minutes from Connaught Place. Something I love about this hotel is the tranquility that is breathed in the complex green spaces .

This hotel is member of «The Leading hotels of the World».

The Oberoi

One of the most popular luxury hotels in the city which overlooks the golf course and Humayun's tomb (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). A spacious, open and landscaped complex in a very quiet area. They have several restaurants, a spa, a swimming pool and also yoga sessions.

It is not in the heart of the city but only 3 km away from the Gateway of India.

In 2022 this hotel was awarded "Number 1 City Hotel in Asia" by Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards.
